Del Sur Elementary
Del Sur Elementary opening in August of 2008. The School was built on the notion of educating children for the world of the 21st century. It is a technologically progressive school focused on providing the highest level of education.
Del Norte High School
Established in August of 2009 the school rests on a 62 acre site between Del Sur and 4S ranch. Costing $105 million, the campus is state-of-the-art. The amazing staff share best practices keeping the school on the fast-tack toward becoming a destination school.
Oak Valley Middle School
With a staff of over 100 employees and 61 teachers Oak Valley Middle School serves Del Sur and 4s Ranch. The School focuses on academic excellence, developmental responsiveness, academic and social equity, and an engaging environment.
Design 39 Campus
Design 39 is a Tk-8 school. The school is focused on learning experiences that are designed for the individual learner. As of August 2019, D39C is now available to the entirety of the PUSD. This change will be ushered in over several years.
Del Sur Fun Facts
Del Sur features 14 parks, 11 pools, and integrated hiking trails intended to preserve the natural feeling of the surrounding landscape. Del Sur is the final phase in the Black Mountain Ranch development project which has spanned over 20 years.
Architecture
Del Sur homes and parks were inspired by historic neighborhoods of San Diego. Drawing inspiration from Mission HIlls, Kensington, La Jolla, and Coronado the community is known for is distinctive architecture.
Mello-Roos Tax Districts
To make Del Sur possible, developer(s) utilized bonds which are paid for as a Mello-Roos Tax/ CFD’s assessment. Del Sur is comprised of Tax Districts 12, 14, and 15. More information can be found here on the San Diego County Clerks Website.

Pools
Del Sur has no shorted of pools. With 11 community wide it’s always easy to cool off. Check out Angeline Park, Jacqueline park, or Kristen Glen Park for lap pools. Want a pool with a view? Check out Wade Park. Want a fireside jacuzzi? Well Kristen Glen’s pool has just that.
Parks & Trails
The Del Sur Public Park features a skate park, tennis courts, basketball hoops and more. Stop and play at the Mel Driscoll Memorial Park with it’s ranch-inspired playground, or meet friends and play bocce ball at Beltiare park over wine, or take a hike - It’s all up to you!
Shops & Restaurants
Del Sur Town Center offers residents access to Sprouts, The Bike Shop, Piacere Mio, Orangetheory Fitness, and more. Close by at the 4S Commons find Jimbos, Karl Strauss Brewery, a UPS Store, and much more make living in Del Sur convenient for those with busy schedules and on the go.
